Grid and Pit is an independent Formula 1 news site for fans in the United States. We cover the news, the driver market, the teams, results, standings and the rules, and we convert every session time to Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time. We keep hubs for the three American races, Las Vegas, Miami and Austin, and for Cadillac, the American team. Stories carry the byline Grid and Pit.

Grid and Pit is an independent news site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, any team or any driver. F1 and Formula 1 are used only to describe the subject of the reporting.

How a story earns a place on the site

Every published story lists its sources with a title, a public URL, the publisher and a date, and the claims in the story link to those pages. The build fails if a story has no source list. Results and points are checked against the official classification. Rumor is labeled as rumor and attributed to the outlet that reported it.

We do not invent quotes, results, times or events. If a fact is not in a source, it does not go in the story.
