Joshua Israel Ventures LLC, a Florida limited liability company, operates Grid and Pit. This policy describes how the site handles information. It is our description of our practices, not a legal opinion.

What we collect

The site does not ask you to create an account and does not run a checkout. We do not sell personal information.

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent through FormSubmit and emailed to the site owner only so we can respond. Do not send sensitive documents we did not ask for.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics loads only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject or make no choice, the Google script is not downloaded and no Google Analytics cookie is set. When you accept, Google Analytics sets first party cookies (such as _ga) and receives information such as the page you viewed, your browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and the referring page. We turn off Google signals and ad personalization in our configuration. Google describes its practices in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie choices link in the footer. Choosing Reject clears the Google Analytics cookies on this site. You can also install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

The site may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. Cloudflare describes the product on its Web Analytics page.

Hosting

The site is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub, as the host, may process technical logs such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Advertising

The site does not show ads today. If we add an advertising partner later, this section will name it, describe the cookies it uses and explain your choices before any ad code runs. See the ad disclosure.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Florida law

Where the Florida Information Protection Act, section 501.171, Florida Statutes, applies to personal information we actually hold, we follow that statute, including its security and breach notice duties.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page.
