The 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix starts on Sunday, November 8 at 12 PM Eastern, 11 AM Central, 10 AM Mountain and 9 AM Pacific. The official timetable lists the race at 14:00 local time over 71 laps of the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, and notes that São Paulo is three hours behind UTC. That puts lights out at 17:00 UTC.
Why the times look early
US daylight saving time ends on Sunday, November 1, the morning of the Mexico City race. By the Brazil weekend, every US session below is on standard time. São Paulo does not change its clocks, so the gap to the East Coast grows from one hour to two. Grid and Pit converted each session from the official UTC offset with that change applied.
Unlike recent visits, this year's event has no Sprint, which Fórmula Interlagos also confirms on its schedule. It is a standard weekend with three practice sessions.

The local times on the timetable are 12:30 and 16:00 on Friday for the two practice sessions, 11:30 for final practice and 15:00 for qualifying on Saturday, and 14:00 for the race on Sunday. Arizona matches Mountain time in November, so viewers there can use that column.
What could be at stake
São Paulo is the 20th of 23 rounds. If Kimi Antonelli has not already clinched the drivers' title in Mexico City, he gets another chance here. Our Mexico City scenarios explain what he needs first.
The teams' title could also come into play. Sky Sports calls Brazil the first realistic chance for Mercedes to seal the constructors' championship, which would require it to leave Interlagos at least 129 points ahead of Ferrari. Mercedes currently leads by 133, as shown in our standings after Austin and on the points table.
